Inshore Fishing 101 With Capt. Larry, LLC

Captain Larry is a Certified Licensed Mariner Marine credentialed cardholder, US Coast Guard Trained. Capt. Larry is a professor of fishing inshore in SW Florida. A fishing day may cover waters from Cape Harbor in Cape Coral as far NW as Boca Grand Pass. Teaching the basics of inshore fishing as well as professional anglers from the north that want to catch Snook, Red Fish and Sea Trout in SW Florida.

101 training includes fishing knots, using live bait, cut bait, lures, spinners and soft baits. Clients learn professional casting techniques, while traveling 50 to 70 miles on the waterways. We will stop in 6 to 9 locations, as clients learn the navigation skills to safely move through the Inter-coastal waterways and be safe of sandbars and oyster beds.  If you don’t know, go slow -  clients are taught skills of what to look for on the water, what bait to use, as well as using incoming and outgoing tides to your advantage. This specific knowledge and the technique to catch Snook, Reds, Trout, and Snapper are key to your success. Capt. Larry’s clients will use high quality bait that CATCH FISH!  He provides all tackle required, top of the line reels and rods with ice and water on board.  Please bring your lunch and your beverage of choice. 

Beer is allowed with moderate drinking!  

Note:  If everyone in your party is an angler, the fees posted are applicable.  However, if you would like to bring a guest that does not fish, there will not be a charge.​ Note:  Capt. Larry’s vessel is certified for 12 persons.  However, He takes only four (4) Anglers per trip due to trailing and sharing the captain’s time with each fishing person.
